the screen printing studio i've founded together with barbara alfonzo, studio macho,
houses in broei at the gerard de duivelsteen. with broei moving out temporarily for renovations
we thought about the past of this building, and by doing so, our own past.
Linking the two together, we found inspiration in the photo library of our phones and
around us, in the ancient building.

We used textures from the building, moments of the past and turned them into graphic patterns.
Inspired by vibrant color use from pop art-culture, we embedded song texts
with words that we hope you find inspiring.
For our expo we co-printed 40 m2 of fabric, A lot of measuring and squatting was involved,
One holding the screen and the other pulling the paint through.
we had a lot of fun making these textile banners and paper prints.
